Anyone who mentions Scott Pressler in an attempt to be taken seriously needs to have their internet access revoked forever.

Is that your position on Internet access? I'll mention it again: Scott Pressler. Now go on and take my access from the Internet.

For real? One only needs to look at the overall trends in party registrations over the last four years to see that Republican organizers like Pressler, whether you agree with their politics or not, have had phenomonal success in registering Republican voters in purple states. And Pennsylvania is a classic case that all of the warning signs [Link] were present and Pressler played a big role in that.

His next target - New Jersey. A State where Kamala underperformed and Murphy struggled to win re-election. Other warning signs with Trump winning CD-09 and losing Paterson NJ by 1 point (Biden won it by 51 in 2020 and Clinton by 70 in 2016 btw).

But I guess its gonna be this way for a while. This place has always been unfriendly to anyone taking a conservative opinion or cheering on conservative heroes, it's just gonna be worse now with the left saying their internet access should be taken away.

I wouldn't say this place in general is unfriendly, just a few people here who like to take arguments seriously and turn them into a personal problem. Don't let them ruin your experience here. For example, we disagree politically on some issues, but I view you as a good contributor on this site.

Also @Patrick is a troll, just ignore him.

Anyway, as a person from this area I can say the reason that Trump did so well here is largely due to Democrats doing worse among the working class. Getting to talk to people here, most of them don't like Trump but they voted for him because Kamala came off as elitist and not reasonating with the populace. The Dick Cheney and celebrity endorsements didn't help either.

LOL. Don't worry I won't take things personally. Most people respond from their level of awareness and sometimes are responding more about themselves than to you. And thank you for the compliment.

Thats great insight. And I agree that Democrats are losing the working class. And losing Latinos. But why? What issues turned them?

From where I stand, Dems losing working class people had to do with a failure to address intelligently: immigration issues, crime, and economic issues. No message other than there was no immigration issue, no crime issue or no economic issues. But clearly working class voters were feel they were valid issues.

Personally, I did expect Harris to win, but after looking at the data - I'm a believer that all the trends we are seeing around party registration is having an impact and is real.

Thank you for the civil conversation.

Yes! The economy was good on paper, but most voters weren't feeling that way. Democratic policies themselves are popular, but the messaging was awful. Hence why they felt they were out of touch and elitist. Democrats were banking on issues like abortion to win, but in reality, that's not what the majority of people cared about. It helped them in 2022, didn't help them so much this time around.

I too expected a Harris victory, but now I think that if the Democrats don't do something to address this states like Pennsylvania could be less and less within their reach.

And you're welcome, I enjoy conversations like these.

Its not that Dems say there "was no immigration issue" its that they cannot counter the GOP's lies on the issue.

Since Democrats are beholden to the same billionaire class as the GOP, they cannot actually counteract the "OFFICIAL NARRATIVE" on immigration. Nor can they do anything to address the problems at their roots, which is also a failure in liberal ideology. The GOP can't either, but they can pretend they offer a surface level solution, and with billions of dollars in propaganda; they can gladly feed that message to the populace forever.

Wanna actually solve the immigration problem, grab a shovel, cause we got some holes to fill

Well, there have been times people on this site who have made bold predictions and were personally attacked and then turned out to be correct. I would not point out any names, but I have seen those messages. It was 99% of times, liberals on this site who attacked conservatives making those predictions and other times they were just voicing certain point of view. The attacks conservatives on site have me made in some way more productive in doing things I consider more important than being on this site (e.g. Spending time with family, concentrating on school, and work).

Anyways, Happy New Years to everyone as I wish you all those on this site a year filled with success, happiness, and growth as I leave back to school tomorrow.

I am sorry to everyone I offended, Scott Pressler is a patriot and master strategist
