But my original statement wasn't a response to anything you or Kyle said. I was just stating my opinion and you responded to MY post accusing me of Islamaphobia. When somebody accuses me of something like that I'm not just going to stand there and not push back. But anyway, I'm not going to bring this any further, after this message this will be at "30 New" which would be the highest amount of new texts I have ever seen. I have agreed to disagree and agreed to move on but it's clear you did not. So, all I have left to say now is, it's almost 9 PM here in Pennsylvania so I wish you a good rest of the night.
Again I didn't accuse, I asked a question.
I stated and I quote: So, when it's racism against Arabs and Palestinians there's a statute of limitations on when we can call it out?, to which this whole convo has seemingly indicated yes; probably because ur an edgelord who has said some very out of pocket shit somewhere and do not want to be "#CANCELLED" for it down the line.
Guy says bad thing when he was 20, has made no indication he has changed: yes that should be disqualifying. Most people try to make that argument for like teenagers, not fucking 20 year olds

Moral of the story: the Vice President should make the pick quickly, so that fences can be mended, the party faithful can be rallied, and/or malcontents can book plane tickets to Chicago.

Here I was thinking someone had gotten selected for VP.
Well traditionally the threads with double digit new posts are Jimmy Carter items so I guess she chose him

will the anonymous sources be better here than the anonymous sources during the Biden road to withdrawal (where some of them got the outcome correct but clearly didn't know when)

Final prediction: I think it'll be Shapiro, but would not be totally shocked if it was Walz either.

I think Shapiro is miles ahead of Walz so I'm interested in why he is still in the mix—Cooper and Shapiro where the real picks if I was in her shoes.

Walz is in the mix because he appears to be the choice of the far-left who don't like Shapiro because he is pro-school choice and pro-Israel. Also Walz (afaik) is the furthest left pick out of all the other potential contenders. And Cooper himself declined to be VP.
But yeah, Cooper and Shapiro would also be my top 2.

I'll believe it when I see a reputable source picking it up. But if true, I will defend him like I did Shapiro.

Walz......"The Choice of the Far-Left".
Bruh, people like Walz are literally the cornerstone of the Dem Party during the 40s-60s for better and for worse.
Shapiro and Walz is like the Kaine/Brown debate of yesteryear. Brown was the choice that actually makes sense when u think objectively about pleasing multiple electoral bases, Walz is similar in that regard. Kaine and Shapiro LOOK like good options on paper, but any scrutiny shows that its probably not gonna good idea

I said to a coworker the other day that if Harris isn't picking Shapiro, then it would be the greatest misdirection of a all time to have the first campaign stop with her VP pick in Philly. If true, then I was right.

I find Shapiro to be a bit cringe worthy. His Obama cadences are laughable but the undisputed fact that he helps her immensely in Pennsylvania seems like a no brainer to me. Walz is certainly that type of pick to get hardcore liberals or progressives on her side but my question is… does she really not have them?
I also find it interesting how an experienced congressional type was not picked much like the Pence/Biden picks. I suppose Kamala is very comfortable with the allies she’s made in Congress.

I'm a bit disappointed that Shapiro didn't end up getting picked, but nevertheless, I congratulate Walz on getting picked and hope he becomes the next VP.

This is probably due to the ideology of the district he used to represent, after all, his district is the same district that just elected a Republican by 12 points. I think once he became governor he shifted to the left...now he has the endorsement of Bernie Sanders and Pramila Jayapal...

And that's good. Proof of moderation to the center and center right, and proof of liberalism to the left.
