DescriptionLuxembourg's dominant party since its creation in 1944. Party has held all prime ministerships save two and has dominated the Chamber of Deputies since the end of World War II. Party was formed from the ashes of the Right Party banned upon Nazi Germany's occupation of the country. Party President has been Claude Wiseler since 2021 [Chrëschtlech-Sozial Vollekspartei (CSV)].
