Roma minority-interests party founded by Faik Abdi, who became the first Roma MP in the Macedonian parliament after elections held in 1990. PCER was the largest Roma-interest party in Macedonia, until in 1996 PCER co-founder Amdi Bajram departed to form the Union of Roma from Macedonia (SRM). Party was further weakened by departures when its new leader, Samka Ibraimovski, moved the party away from it long-time support of the VMRO-DPMNE coalition in 2016, formalizing a partnership with the SDSM coalition instead [Партија за целосна еманципација на Ромите (PCER)].
