| Description | Center-left party which called itself 'bioregionalist' (a focus on democratizing regions based on environmental considerations first). Party was founded on December 22, 2006 by Chilean District 20 Deputy and 2013 presidential candidate Félix González Gatica and remained Chile's only 'green' party for a time after the dissolution of Los Verdes in 2001. González only began to lead the party beginning on August 1, 2014. Party's failure to reach a 5% threshold mandated by Chilean electoral law after legislative elections held in 2021 forced it to dissolve on February 3, 2022 [Partido Ecologista Verde de Chile (EV)]. |
