DescriptionRight-of-center party launched and led by Álvaro Gómez Hurtado formed to present his presidential candidacy in 1990. Party dissolved in 2006 after less-than-lacklustre results legislatively. Party was revived and reestablished on December 1 2021 by Gómez's nephew, Journalist Enrique Gómez Martínez, who decided to make a run for President in 2022 under the party banner [Movimiento de Salvación Nacional (MSN)].
