Right-of center monarchist party founded by the former Chairman of the Georgia Parliament (April 18, 1991 - January 6, 1992) Akaki Asatiani. Upon the break-up of the Georgian Monarchist Party, a party he formed in April 1989, Asatiani launched the Union of Georgian Traditionalists, at about the same time that he was ousted from Parliament in 1992 during a coup d'etat in Georgia. Party was a major part of the bloc Round Table- Free Georgia formed by Georgian nationalist hero and first President, Zviad Gamsakhurdia. Gamsakhurdia's exile after the Military Coup of 1991-92, then death forced the dissolution of the Round Table on January 1994. The STK has not found its footing since. Asatiani was a presidential candidate in 2018 [საქართველოს ტრადიციონალისტთა კავშირი].
