| Description | Liberal environmentalist party launched by the former Chairman of Finland's Pirates, Petrus Pennanen. The Open Party was originally conceived on January 20, 2020, promoting the standard Pirate Party themes of election digitalization and copyright freedoms. Party altered its model to supporting marijuana-legalization, basic income for everyone, unionizing sex workers and euthanasia at the time that it registered itself on March 1, 2021. Party also supports replacing peat and coal-based fuels with nuclear power and joins in the growing anti-wind power movement [Avoin Puolue (AP)]. |
