DescriptionCenter-right association of parties emerged from the 'Vienotība' (or 'Unity') party established on August 6, 2011. "Jaunā Vienotība" ('New Unity'; JV) was formed with five regional parties ahead of elections for the 13th Saeima. The five parties are 'Kuldīgas novadam', 'Tukums pilsētad un novadam', 'Valmiera and Vidzeme', 'Jēkabpils' and the 'Latgale Party'.

JV's leader is Arturs Krišjānis Kariņš, Latvia's current Prime Minister (since January 23, 2019).
