Description | The Democratic race to replace Auditor General Eugene DePasquale is taking shape.
Four candidates worked the state committee crowd over the weekend ahead of the April 2020 primary: former Deputy Philadelphia Mayor Nina Ahmad, former Philadelphia City Controller Alan Butkovitz, non-profit leader and former Lancaster County congressional candidate Christina Hartman, and Pittsburgh City Controller Michael Lamb.
“I’d say it’s beyond mulling,” Butkovitz said in an interview with PoliticsPA. “I haven’t formally announced, that’ll probably be after this year’s election, but I’m doing everything else.” |
