| Description | Former U.S. President Bill Clinton will campaign Thursday at a San Antonio high school on behalf of Democrat challenger Pete Gallego, who is trying to unseat incumbent Rep. Francisco “Quico” Canseco, R-San Antonio, two weeks from today.
In a statement, Gallego said Clinton’s visit would play a “huge role in energizing and mobilizing supporters,” adding that “it will be an honor to share the stage.”
The Canseco campaign responded with an email today, calling attention to the differences between the former president and Gallego, namely the role of government and how it should interact with middle-class families. |
