| Description | TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Rep. Corrine Brown is ending a Senate exploratory committee and choosing instead to run for re-election.
Brown has been considering a Senate run for months and gathering petitions for that campaign, but announced Friday that she will seek her ninth term in the House.
Brown said, "In these difficult times, I can use my position in the House to do even more to help my constituents."
Brown represents a district that stretches from Jacksonville to the Orlando area. |
