Election day is less than a month away, and only a few of the 11 candidates running for Dallas mayor have a shot at making the expected runoff.
But whittling the serious contenders down to three or four is difficult because no candidate has established himself as the clear front-runner.
And the field, made up mostly of businessmen and City Council members, has more political negatives than positives, making it difficult to lay odds on the outcome.
