Description | Labor Knesset Member Binyamin Ben-Eliezer told Ynet on Friday that Kadima’s Shimon Peres is doing everything in his power to prevent Labor from joining the next government.
“This man, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, is doing all that he can so Labor will not be a part of the next government,” Ben-Eliezer said. “He wants (Israel Our Home Chairman Avigdor) Lieberman, the man who supports the transfer (of Arabs), instead of us. He is doing this because he has a pathological hatred for Labor, and because he can’t stand the fact that the maneuver he initiated did not garner more than 29 mandates.”
Following reports that Labor was holding talks with several parties in a bid to form a government without Kadima Peres said “Labor is trying to form an ‘extortion bloc’.” |
