Description | Conservative deputy leader Peter MacKay announced today that he will be staying in Ottawa, rather than seeking the Tory leadership in Nova Scotia.
"Quite frankly, I came to the conclusion that my work here is not done. And for that reason, I am very proud and very comfortable with the decision today," MacKay said, after the weekly Conservative caucus meeting, with Tory Leader Stephen Harper by his side.
"Sometimes you follow your gut and sometimes you follow your head. But in this case, it was much about my gut." |
