Description | Columbus - Unbowed by a failed attempt to win a statewide office three years ago, former Lakewood State Rep. Bryan Flannery has set his sights on an even bigger prize in 2006: governor.
"My specific platform is education and jobs," said Flannery, accusing other candidates of avoiding meaningful issues. "They say they are for jobs and education but they never say what they will do about it. I have specific solutions. It's not rocket science."
Flannery, who now works as a health-care consultant and lives in Strongsville, said he isn't sure when he will formally announce his candidacy. But he has established a campaign committee and is raising money, though he won't say how much he has. |
