[Roy]Moore ally Terry Butts won't run in 2006

| Description | MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -- Terry Butts, a former Alabama Supreme Court justice who has represented Roy Moore and Bob Riley, said Wednesday he won't run for any public office in 2006.
Butts had received encouragement to run as an ally of Moore in next year's election. But he said that after taking a vacation with his family and praying over the matter, he decided not to return to politics.
"I will devote the rest of my days to my family, my faith and my law practice," Butts said in a letter to The Associated Press
