| Description | Mr. Chandler clearly offers Democrats their best chance for victory in the fall. Government corruption will be a major issue, and he has successfully fought against it. His opponents' backgrounds -- Mr. Lunsford's business decisions, Rep. Richards' legislative career -- make them vulnerable to the GOP attack ad machine.
But he has the right preparation, priorities and perspective on government. He wants to make it better, not scorn it or starve it.
