Description | "WRENTHAM -- Republican state Sen. Scott Brown took down campaign signs for his rival and another Democratic candidate from in front of a repair shop, a move Brown said the business owner requested but others decry as underhanded.
Brown and Bill Daly, owner of Bill's Automotive Center, relay the same story of what happened when Brown visited Daly Monday afternoon and spotted signs for rival Angus McQuilken and state representative candidate John McFeeley near his own signs.
"I said 'Billy, what's up with the signs,'" Brown said. "He said, 'I don't know, you can take them down and put them in my office.' So I took them down, put them in his office, that's it." The signs ended up in the trash, Daly said, when an employee cleaned the shop at night."
