Info | Wanda J. Corner is the owner of Corner of Success, Inc. She is a native of Columbus, Ohio with an undergraduate degree in Communications from The Ohio State University and a Masters Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. She is a Supplier Diversity Expert and has almost fifteen years of experience in small, minority and female business development. She has worked for every level of government including the City Equal Business Opportunity Commission Office and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
She started her company in January 2001. Corner of Success is a management consulting firm with four core competencies: Training and Personal Development, Business Coaching, Supplier Diversity Consulting and will soon be adding a Technology Consulting Division. Her niche lies in corporate and public supplier diversity programs. Some of her clients are and have been: Bank One of Columbus, Central Ohio Transit Authority, Fifth Third Bank, The Ohio State University, The Columbus International Port Authority, The City of Columbus, Honda of America Manufacturing, United Way of Central Ohio and the Columbus Urban League.
She has volunteered her time to speak to various groups about creating effective supplier diversity programs such as: National Association of Purchasing Managers, 2001 Annual Convention of the National Institute of Government Purchasing, Chapter of Minority Transportation Officials, Nationwide Insurance and more.
She is currently working on a pilot with several corporate/public supplier diversity initiatives which will empower Corporations and Organizations to be intricately involved with demonstrated commitment to the economic development of small, minority and female businesses. She has written several articles in various business journals to present “The Business Case” for supplier diversity both locally and nationally.
In addition to all of this, Wanda is adjunct faculty at Franklin University, teaching courses in Business Ethics and Strategic Management and Policy, Principles of Management and Business Decisions and Policy Issues. The mission of her company is simple: Coaching and Motivating People and Organizations to Success.
