Info | I'm the daughter of a Broxbourne bricklayer. My dad grew up in a council house in Hoddesdon. My mum lived in Cheshunt. My grandfather ran the old British Legion Club on Esdaile Lane.
I know how much this is a brilliant place to live, work and invest in. It's been painful to see over the years how our local towns and villages have been let down by local Conservatives, and 14 years of Tory failure.
It's time for change. We need a Labour government to turn around our economy, fix public services and take urgent action on climate change.
And, more than ever, Broxbourne needs someone ready to serve in its corner.
I'm not a career politician. I've worked since I was 15. A Labour government changed my life. I'm currently a charity CEO. During my career, I've managed million-pound organisations, helped change laws to better fund hospices, developed programmes to train more nurses and midwives, and secured grants to help young people build vital life skills.
