Info | My journey began in El Paso, TX, where I was born to hardworking parents who had migrated from Chihuahua, Mexico. My mother, a college freshman then, temporarily put her education on hold to raise me while my father worked as a dairy farmer in rural New Mexico. Witnessing my parents' struggles to provide for our family deeply impacted me. After relocating to Colorado to pursue a fresh start, I completed my high school education and am attending the University of Colorado Boulder to study political science. Despite facing numerous challenges and my family relocating back to rural New Mexico, I work multiple jobs to make ends meet, and my determination remains unwavering.

Serving as a Resident Advisor to afford housing and working diligently as a Juvenile Service Specialist in Boulder County, where I help troubled youth and their families, reflects my passion for advocacy. My experiences also led me to work for legislators at the Colorado State Capitol.
Having experienced the struggles of a lower-class family firsthand and witnessing the challenges faced by students and families who share similar experiences, I am driven by a deep desire to advocate for change.
