Nellie is a proud member of the Assiniboia community, and she has lived in this neighborhood for over 13 years with her husband and two children. Nellie is committed to supporting families and seniors. She is a community service worker with the Community Living Disability Services program. She is also the co-founder and volunteer director of the Postpartum Depression Association of Manitoba, and a strong mental health advocate. The devastation caused by Stefanson’s PC Government with their cuts to healthcare, education, and social services is what inspired Nellie to step up and become Assiniboia’s next MLA.
As part of the Manitoba NDP team, Nellie will advocate to improve our schools, increase childcare spaces for Assiniboia families and fix healthcare.
