| Info | Representative Lance Harvell of Farmington is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives representing District 89, which includes Farmington and Industry. He was elected in a February 2009 special election.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Rep. Harvell has been married for 22 years to Bernadette, who he met and married while serving in the Netherlands. He is a published author of a sportsman's book and a lifelong hunter and fisherman. In addition, he is a UMF non-traditional student majoring in Political science and history.
Rep. Harvell has been a long-term Verso Paper employee. He helped coach t-ball and live pitch while his son and daughter played and he helps with the local community garden. He drives a fuel efficient car, lives in a small energy efficient house, and raises a large organic garden every year.
