InfoKeith Benn, the New Blue candidate for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex, was born and raised in Southwestern Ontario, having lived first in Wallaceburg before moving to Port Lambton with his family. Following several years of working at jobs that included factory work and construction sites, Keith began his studies in Geology. He holds a BSc from the University of Western Ontario (now Western University), an MSc from Laval University in Québec and a doctorate from the University of Montpellier, in France. Following a seventeen-year career as an Assistant and then Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa, Keith began his second career working as a Geologist in the mining industry, in Canada and abroad. Since 2008 he has held multiple Senior Management and Executive-level roles and he currently works internationally as an independent consultant. He returned to live in Port Lambton in 2009 because there’s no place like home. Keith has two adult children of whom he is very proud. Keith has chosen to represent the New Blue Party as a candidate because, like so many Ontarians, he recognizes that our province and our country are truly at a historical moment when we must cast our vote wisely to preserve our parliamentary democracy and our basic rights, and to get our province back on track by governing according to true conservative principles. Keith recognizes that the upcoming election will present Ontarians with the opportunity to challenge the establishment parties that have failed Ontario, and that the New Blue Party represents the one and only conservative choice in 2024.
