| Info | Ryan was born and raised in St. Catharines. He attended Prince Philip and Dalewood for elementary school, Governor Simcoe and Collegiate for high school, and then attended Brock University for his postsecondary education studies, where he took political sciences. Afterwards, Ryan became a firefighter for the City of St. Catharines and has served in this role for 30 years.
He has been the President of the St. Catharines Professional Firefighters Association for the past 11 years, where he has successfully bargained for higher wages and better mental health benefits packages for his members. In the community, Ryan has volunteered extensively with charities such as Pathstone Mental Health, the Rankin Cancer Run, and Start Me Up Niagara. Above all, Ryan is the proud father of two wonderful daughters, Riley and Fiona.
