| Info | I grew up farming in Allen County and graduated from Elida High School. I went to Miami University where I studied business, started the campus chapter of the ACLU, and helped to organize for better wages for university employees.
After graduation, I began my career in Cincinnati as a financial analyst before becoming a teacher. In my spare time, I started a non-profit geared toward providing services to Cincinnati-area parents helping their children learn math and science.
In 2017, I was elected to Forest Park City Council where I have led our minority business outreach program, bringing dozens of jobs to our city while also encouraging business accelerators to locate and spur entrepreneurship in our city.
