| Info | Janina Strudwick was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She is currently active with the Refugee Sponsorship Program of WUSC and is also a board member for the Edmonton Small Press Association. Janina volunteers with the Prostitution Awareness and Action Foundation of Edmonton and also the Edmonton Immigrant Services Association. She has also served as co-chair of the New Democratic youth of Alberta. Janina is an honours graduate in medical anthropology. She has worked, researched and lived abroad in four countries. Janina has battled the challenge of poverty in her own personal life and conquered it.
Janina Strudwick’s top priorities for change in government are: Affordable housing, Public Healthcare, Women’s equality and Reforms to Canadian Immigration. Janina knows that many of the constituent in Edmonton East face challenges daily in housing, healthcare, access to education and equality.
