| Info | Kim Richter is a Professor of Business Management at Kwantlen University College and a Langley Township Councilor. She holds a B.A., a B.Sc. and a Master in Health Administration from the University of Ottawa.
Since moving to Langley in 1986, Ms. Richter has been an active volunteer in the community and has served on the Langley Memorial Hospital Board, the Langley Community Health Council, the South Fraser Regional Health Board, the Langley Family Services Board, the Langley Hospice Society, the Langley Flippers Swim Club, and the North Otter Association for the Performing Arts. She is currently a member of the Kwantlen University College Board of Governors and Board Finance/Audit Committee.
In addition to her duties on Langley Township Council, Ms. Richter is a member of the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD) Waste Management Committee. She has also served on GVRD�s Solid Waste Committee and Labour Bureau.
Over the past five years, she has been a member of the Township of Langley�s Court of Revision, Agriculture Advisory Committee, Economic Development Commission, the Cultural Tourism Committee, Youth Commission, Water Resources Management Public Advisory Committee, Waterwise Program, Parks & Recreation Commission, and the Mayor�s Task Force for Child Safety on School Routes.
She and her husband, Bob, have been married for 21 years. They have three teenaged children.
