Info
Travis Liles was born on August 12, 1977 at St. Josephs Hospital in Nashua, New
Hampshire. The last of five children born to Andrew and Ruthann Liles, he spent his early
childhood living in Derry, New Hampshire.

At an early age politics became a passion for Travis, he spent weekends at the towns
shopping plazas handing out fliers for his mother?s unsuccessful campaign in Derry?s first
Mayoral race, which Paul P. Collette won.

Parents work eventually brought Travis to Manchester where he has since lived and this
would broaden his interest in politics. In 1990, he spent every afternoon after school doing
volunteer work for Joe Keefe?s campaign for the very seat he now seeks.

Over the next several years, Travis spent much time volunteering on an assortment of
campaigns, from local mayoral campaigns to presidential campaigns. It was on his first
presidential campaign that he learned how far friendship can go. At age 14, just 8 days
before Christmas, his mother passed away, the hard time he would endure was made
easier by friends and his second family at Bob Kerrey?s campaign office.

In June 1996, Travis graduated from Manchester Memorial High School. Since then Travis
has worked in the retail sector earning a living.

Today Travis has entered the Congressional race to give voters a choice, to offer a new
voice in Washington.
