| Info | Marc Loiselle was born in Île-à-la-Crosse and lived in Saskatoon, Meadow Lake, and Spiritwood. He has some university education and is fluently bilingual, French and English.
As a 44 year old farmer, husband, and father of four children, he is the principal steward of the inter-generational family farm at Vonda, which is in its 20th year of certified organic management with grains, legumes, oilseeds, forage seeds and hay, and some livestock.
Marc has a strong bond with and love for the land that sustains life and he hopes that succeeding generations will be here to continue to care for it and help it to grow the food we all need. His farm’s vision statement is Holistic Stewardship for Abundant Life. As a steward of creation, he is responsible for protecting and respecting the Earth and its inhabitants. Everyone has the fundamental right to unpolluted air, water, soil and food; Marc has been working actively to ensure this is upheld.
