As a community advocate, educator, and administrator, Don has developed a deep understanding of the issues facing Saskatchewan and Canada today and has developed the skills and the wisdom to solve problems and create opportunities in innovative ways.
Don was born and raised in Saskatchewan and has dedicated his life to creating communities that are healthy and dynamic where people can thrive and prosper. In 1996 Don was nominated Global Citizen of the Year by the Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation, and in 2003 was voted Citizen Activist of the Year by a Planet S magazine readers poll.
