| Info | I am a Colorado native born and raised in Welby, where I continue to live today. As one of thirteen children to Ray and Agnes Domenico, I grew up on the family farm my Grandfather originated in 1922. After graduating from Mapleton High School I began what would be a 28-year career at King Soopers. At 48 years old I was eligible for early retirement and used that opportunity to enroll into college for the first time. After finishing, I returned to my roots and began working for the family business that my brother now runs. I was proud to be a part of this third generation business that is growing strong. Currently, I am the maintenance engineer for Assumption Catholic Church and School in Welby where I get to serve the community in a different capacity.
Being a lifelong Adams County resident, I want to see the county move in the right direction. A county that is fiscally responsible to enable growth through professionalism allowing the county to attract new businesses which transfers to economic growth and development, benefiting the taxpaying citizens. I am vested in this mission as I am currently serving the county as an elected official to the Adams County Fire Rescue Board of Directors since 1994. As Secretary, Vice President and now Treasurer, I have experience in managing a budget, overseeing a government entity and its workings and most importantly working as a team to bring new ideas and activate programs to better serve Adams County and its citizens.
In my down time I enjoy traveling, golfing and getting to as many Colorado Rockies games as possible with my family.
