| Info | I was born in Moorhead in 1963, the third of five kids. I attended Washington Elementary, North Junior High (what is now Robert Asp), and graduated from Moorhead High in 1982. I went on to earn my Bachelors in Anthropology from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
I’ve worked many part time jobs since my children were young so that I could be home. I have billeted for the National Guard, managed for multiple small businesses, and delivered services to people who are suffering from mental illness. Now I am retired, so I can focus on representing the people in ward 1.
I have been married to my husband, Joel, for 25 years; he has taught at MSUM since 1987. We have three children: Julian, Keely, and Dennis. All three have attended Moorhead Schools and MSUM.
