| Info | Minnesota has been my home for over 60 years. I am a graduate of Chisago Lakes High School and attended Century College (formerly Lakewood State Junior College) where I studied Business Management. For more than 40 years, I've been employed at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in their Corporate Office in Center City, MN, drawn to their mission, which resonates deeply with me.
Family is the most important thing to me. I have one daughter, Laurel, who is married to Brian and they have 3 strong willed daughters. I love being their "Nonnie". Having been married to a reserve police officer, I have a profound understanding of the challenges and sacrifices encountered by law enforcement families.
Community engagement is a core value to me. In 2010, I was elected by Taylors Falls residents to serve on the at-large City Council seat. I held this position until 2022. Since then, I received the endorsement of the Chisago Lakes DFL unit 28B to represent them in the State House of Representatives.
