| Info | Sam and his wife Mariah were both born and raised right here in Snohomish County. Sam is a local small business owner. His wife Mariah is a Forensic Scientist specializing in DNA for a law enforcement agency. Together they have five children with the oldest two attending college.
Sam’s first exposure to local government came as a teenager when he won a contest to be Mayor of Everett for a day. He then went on to be Snohomish County and Washington State Youth of the Year for the Boys and Girls Club.
In 2013 Sam was elected to the Lake Stevens City Council and was later selected by his peers to be Council President. During this time Sam also served on the Snohomish (County) Board of Health and was selected by his peers to be Chair in 2015.
Sam has always been active in community service both personally and through his local Rotary Club. Sam is currently the 2016-2017 Lake Stevens Rotary President.
