| Info | =I was born in Vigo, Spain, in 1948. In the region of Galicia, in addition to Spanish we also speak old-Portuguese (Gallego or Galician). Vigo is about 20 miles North of the border with Portugal.
=My father was a Police Officer for 35 years. He died in 1992 at age 82. My mother never worked outside home. She was in good health until a few weeks ago, when she was diagnosed with stomach cancer.
=I was the 3rd of 5 siblings (I have 3 brothers and 1 sister). I now have 7 nephews and 1 niece,, all of them currently living in Vigo, Spain.
=In 1971, I married Olga Cintr�n (a Physical Therapist from San Juan, PR) . In 1992 -after 21 years of marriage- we got divorced. I have three children from my marriage to Olga: Ryan(28), Jason(22), and Kelving (21). Despite the divorce we are all very close: Olga, myself, and our sons.
=Ryan is finishing Optometry (in San Juan), and is currently doing the required internships. Jason's vocation follows that of his older brother. He will be studying Optometry as well. Kelvin is starting studies towards a degree in Architecture (University of Denver, CO).
=Since 1995 I am married to Morgana ("Mona"), a Brazilian Artist whom I met in her hometown: Rio. We have one daughter (Alana) who was born in St.Cloud, MN in 1998.
=I am an Spanish Army Veteran (Military Police, rank:Corporal, Madrid, 1970-71).
=I relocated to the USA in 1972, and I became a US citizen in 1976
::EDUCATION.-
=Associate degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (Summa Cum Laude, University of Vigo, 1965)
=Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineer, from the University of Puerto Rico (Magna Cum Laude, Mayag�ez, 1974).
=Finished Master in Business Administration studies, at the Inter-American University (Cag�as, 1985).
=Master degree in Telecommunications, from the University of Colorado (Boulder, 1992).
=Earned credits towards a Ph.D. (Computer Sciences, Colorado State, Fort Collins 1993), but quit to accept position at LodgeNet Entertainment (Sioux Falls, SD).
::PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE.-
=Worked in Avionics, Radars and Telecommunications (please see resume displayed on my campaign site).
=Founded two software companies ("Scientific Software" 1978, and "Animal Science Software International" 1992)
=Started international operations for two companies, and traveled internationally -extensively.
=In January of 2002 I resigned to my last position (as Vice President of International Sales) to dedicate full time to my political campaign.
=In my past, I have neither worked for federal or state governments, nor held any public office for any city or county. In other words, this is the first time I am running for public office.
