Info | Dan Lamb understands the challenges our part of New York faces and has the experience we need working for us in Congress.
Since 1998, Dan has served as a top advisor to Congressman Maurice Hinchey on a range of issues that are crucial to our region, including job creation, economic growth, education, infrastructure development, flood recovery, and the risks of hydraulic fracturing.
While managing Hinchey’s Ithaca and Binghamton offices, Dan has seen first hand how decisions in Washington affect our daily lives. From helping veterans obtain the benefits they are owed through the VA, to assisting seniors with Medicare and Social Security, he has fought to make sure that our government works for us – not just the special interests.
Dan has also been a strong leader in his community. Living in Freeville, NY with his 11 year old son Austin, he coaches youth soccer and is a member of the First Baptist Church of Ithaca. He is also a member of the Tompkins County Environmental Management Council, Community Advisory Committee of Cornell’s Johnson Museum, Tompkins County Climate Protection Initiative, Broome County Flood Task Force, and the Tompkins County Democratic Committee.
Lamb holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell Graduate School of Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College.
