| Info | Mary Kozorys was born in Ontario to parents who found refuge in Canada following World War II. At the age of 18, she became the youngest library trustee in Ontario. She attended L’Institut Catholique de Paris and then Lakehead University in the Faculty of Business.
As a director in the non-profit sector, Mary has had a hand in matters of economic development, youth out-migration, and poverty reduction in her community for 25 years. The last seven of those years have also been spent as a federal constituency assistant, helping hundreds in her community.
Mary is a member of the board of the Lakehead Social Planning Council, and mother of two grown children.
