InfoMr. Catania is a former Assistant Attorney General and Director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (1994-1999), the regulatory and enforcement agency responsible for maintaining integrity and trust in all Atlantic City gaming operations. He has served as the chair and vice chair of the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) and was a co-founder and past chairman of the Forum of American Casino Regulators (FACR). He currently serves as President of the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL), a non-profit association of gaming attorneys and regulators dedicated to education and advancement of gaming law worldwide.

Mr. Catania also served as the Vice President of Compliance for Players International, Inc. (1999-2000) where he was instrumental in resolving compliance issues the company had encountered prior to his appointment, allowing the company to be sold to Harrah’s.

Mr. Catania is a principal in Catania Consulting Group, Inc. a consulting firm with extensive experience in gaming issues, with a particular emphasis in gaming compliance and government affairs. He has been a staunch supporter of regulating Internet gaming and was instrumental in the promulgation and implementation of the Regulations Concerning Interactive Gaming for the Mohawk Gaming Commission.

Mr. Catania is a former member of the NJ General Assembly having previously served as Deputy Speaker. He has been published on a wide variety of casino gaming and government-related topics in several national publications, regional newspapers, and trade publications.
