| Info | Trudy has 35 years of high-level public sector and business management experience. She has always worked for the public good. She directed for many years a Maryland State agency that administered at its peak $500 million a year in loans and grants. More recently, Trudy founded and serves as Chairman of Homes for America, an Annapolis based business that is now one of the largest nonprofit housing organizations in the country. Trudy knows how to manage effectively large scale governmental entities, as well as how to operate a successful business.
Trudy has lived and worked in Annapolis for 28 years. She knows Annapolis, its people and issues. She is a leader and an activist with a strong record of civic involvement. As a volunteer, she has worked on some of our toughest problems: crime, public housing and numerous social issues. She has served on many City committees, neighborhood and civic associations, and on the boards of several charitable organizations. She founded Citizens for a Better Annapolis, which has been an effective voice for change by providing facts and information on key policy issues.
