| Info | Andrea married Patrick Daley in August of 1997 after they both obtained their Bachelor degrees. Andye received her Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and History from Rutgers University and Patrick graduated from Widner University with a Mechanical Engineering Degree.
Andrea served as VP of Programming and on the Board of Directors for the Holocaust Education Center of the Delaware Valley for 3 years. She created community events that educated all ages on the dangers of intolerance and stereotyping. Along with this she taught at two Religious schools for 10 years, teaching History of the Holocaust and WWII. To 7th to 12 th graders.
Becoming a family Pat and Andrea now have two Children. Madison 10 and Ethan 9 and made the important decision to take full custody of their 16 year old Nephew Christopher. The family moved to Delaware three and ½ years ago when Patrick started working for a major pharmaceutical company. They immediately got involved in the community.
They are active parents volunteering for a local Cub Scout pack as well as the Chesapeake Meadow Maintenance Corp. Andye has served as the president of the CMMC for the last 2 ½ years. Andye started a youth civic group within her subdivision allowing the teens in the area to have a safe place to be and showing them the importance of community service. Andrea and Patrick also volunteer for the Middletown High School Robotics Club. Knowing that giving back to their community was the right thing to do, they jumped in with both feet.
Three years ago Andrea started the Middletown Corridor Coalition which is a grassroots organization that stood up to DelDOT and the Rt 301 By-pass project. She, along with others, lobbied the State legislature to have legislation passed requiring DelDOT to have more workshops offering more alternatives that will ultimately save the Delaware taxpayers millions of dollars.
