Born in Alden NY in 1855, where his family from Omaha NE was visiting at the time. Son of Experience Estabrook, the first Nebraska Attorney General and a former Wisconsin Attorney General. His mother's name was Caroline (Maxwell) Estabrook.

Moved to Chicago in the spring of 1896 and immediately earned a reputation as a master orator; gave the speech dedicating the Franklin Monument in Lincoln Park, 6/1896. Partner, Lowden, Estabrook, and Davis, 1896-1902
Solicitor for the Western Union Telegraph Company, which he represented in the famous case against the National Telegraph News Company establishing property rights for news stories.
In 1915, Estabrook embarked upon a speaking tour throughout the North, calling for the defeat of President Wilson in 1916. The New York Times carried articles on his speech in Chicago on 3/14/1915, in St. Paul on 8/13/1915, in Seattle on 9/5/1915, and in Philadelphia on 11/12/1915.

Died on 12/22/1917 while attending a movie in Tarrytown NY.
