OCCUPATION: Attorney at Law
I was admitted to practice law in 1973 and I have practiced continuously since that date. I served as Assistant Disciplinary Counsel for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court from 1977 to 1980. I have engaged in my own practice of law from 1980 through the present time. My main office is in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Since 1985, I have been rated by Martindale Hubbell as an AV rated lawyer for legal ability and ethical standards, which is the highest rating that can be given and which very few attorneys attain. In the area of criminal law, I have been rated since 2005 as a Super Lawyer, one of the very few Super Lawyers in Chester County.
I have raised my children in Chester County. Both of them graduated through the West Chester public schools.
As a young attorney, I put my wife through medical school and she now is an internal medicine and geriatric specialist and one of the founding members of Gateway Medical, which is a major medical provider throughout Chester County.
I attended William Penn Charter School and graduated in 1966. I graduated from Dickinson College in 1970, with a degree in history, and from Dickinson School of Law in 1973, cum laude.
Finally, I served in the United States Army Reserves as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General Corp.
