Archbald, judge of the United States Commerce Court; unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the Sixty-third Congress; elected to the Sixty-fourth and Sixty-fifth Congresses and served from March 4, 1915, until his death near Pontiac, Ill., as the result of an automobile accident, October 17, 1918; interment in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, Ill.
