Beech, a Baptist and life-long resident of Jones County, is a graduate of Ellisville High School and Jones County Junior College. He owned and operated an Ellisville business for more than 30 years, and his history of public service includes four years on the Ellisville City Council, followed by 12 years as a District 1 justice court judge until his retirement in 2004.
He is married to the former Patsy Cromwell, and together they have six children.
