| Info | Dean Constable was born in Charlottetown and was raised at his family's restaurant in West Royalty, the Towers Restaurant, where he learned about business on Prince Edward Island from an early age. He attended local schools and became a familiar face on the Island with his active involvement in many local theatre groups and community organizations.
At age eighteen Dean co-founded a small production company that provided entertainment to visitors of businesses across the Island. After three successful years with the company, he left to further his education and study Theatre Production at Studio 58 in Vancouver. Since then Dean has worked as a manager and organizer with small and large professional theatres as well as participating in theatre co-ops of new works.
On Prince Edward Island he has sat on the board of Theatre PEI, he was one of the original founders of the PEI Theatre Festival, and was the head of Administration of Stage Door Theatre School, encouraging creativity in young people.
Dean currently works with the Charlottetown Festival and is an active member of Canadian Actor's Equity Association.
Dean is happy to be living in downtown Charlottetown with his wife Teresa and their son William.
