InfoOne of 11 children, I grew up in Neptune and attended Holy Spirit School in Asbury Park. Learned to swim at the Asbury YMCA. My Dad worked on Springwood Ave in Asbury Park. I attended Franklin College Of Indiana, and worked my way through graduating with a BA in English. Worked in retail, then became director of male modeling for 5 Barbazon schools.

Backpacked across the country (a story in itself). Came home and started a contracting business. I got my real estate license, started part time, then got into it full time. Founding president of the Asbury Park Homeowners Association, and still chairmen of its restoration fund.

Was elected to the City Council in 2001. Started the Recreation Commission with Mayor Sanders, and was the driving force in having our downtown designated a redevelopment zone and I have been very involved in negotiations for all aspects of the city-wide redevelopment.

I am presently Chairman of the Technical Review Committee (TRC) and serve on the Planning board, as well as various other sub committees.

I was chairman of the AP Democratic Executive Committee, and am presently a committee member. Have owned a home in Asbury Park with my partner Rich for 20 years and we could not imagine living anywhere else.
