InfoWarren McCall was first elected as a Member of the Legislature for Regina–Elphinstone in February, 2001, re-elected as the MLA for Regina Elphinstone-Centre in November, 2003, and was appointed to Cabinet as the Minister of Corrections and Public Safety in September, 2006.

In May, 2006, Premier Calvert appointed Warren to head up a review of Post-Secondary Education Accessibility and Affordability, with an Interim Report due in early 2007, and a Final Report to be complete by the fall of 2007. From 1997 to 2001, Warren worked for the Federal New Democratic Party in both Ottawa and Regina. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Canadian History from the University of Regina.

Warren volunteers for a wide variety of organizations and events, including the North Central Community Association, the Regina Folk Festival, the Albert Library Community Council, the Canadian Blood Service, the Terry Fox Run, and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure. He is a long-time Credit Union and Co-operative member, and has been an active union member.

Warren likes to stay active and has enjoyed sports such as hockey, water polo and softball as both a player and a coach. He finished his first triathlon in the summer of 2005. Warren is a proud member of Regina’s YMCA. Warren and his wife Kelly make their home in North Central Regina. Warren is proud to live in the neighbourhood and represent the Constituency where he was born and raised.
