InfoPresident of Paul Hall & Associates and former Brown County GOP Chairman.

Hall is the founder and manager of several small family owned businesses and is well-known for his insurance company, Paul Hall and Associates Insurance Agency in Mt. Orab.

As principal agent of the agency, he represents more than 20 different companies, offering more than 200 products at three locations. His agency currently serves over 5,000 policies in Adams, Brown, Clermont and Clinton counties.

In 1988, when Hall started the agency, he developed the slogan “the no problem insurance agency.” Today, he and his staff of 16 still work diligently to be the “no problem insurance agency.” He has always specialized in serving the insurance needs of rural Ohio with emphasis on servicing farmers.

In 1979, Hall started with the Ohio Farm Bureau in southeast Ohio. In 1984, he was transferred to Clermont County Farm Bureau. In the nearly 10 years he served as organization director for the Ohio Farm Bureau, he saw the need for someone to help small businesses and the farmers in the insurance arena.

Hall is the founder and owner of Cartemps Rental Agency LLC. He saw the need to help clients who required rental cars due to claims. Cartemps, founded in 2003, has since taken flight and now has 15 vehicles rented on a weekly basis.

Painless Tax Service was founded in 1999. Painless Tax Service provides hourly appointments to their customers for tax preparation. Painless Tax Service prepares taxes for hundreds of clients on a yearly basis.

Two other businesses Hall is associated with are BEPH Rental and Comprehensive Business Consultants.

Hall believes his experience in insurance and tax preparation will be a strong advocate for the people of Ohio.

Hall has played important roles in the election of State Senator Tom Niehaus, Doug White and Rose Vesper.

With Hall holding the position of president of the local Republican Party for quite some time, many are wondering why he did not run in the primary two years ago.

Hall said he waited several years before running for office to dedicate the time to his children.

Hall now believes he has the time to represent the citizens of the 88th District.

Hall is running under the slogan “A voice for all of us” and he said he can be that voice.

As far as Hall’s political beliefs, many of them are the same views Republicans have stood behind for the past several years, including the right to bear arms, protector of the unborn, a believer in the young, opposer of same sex marriage and a fighter for the “little guy.”

Hall’s announcement to run for a state office marks the first Brown Countian to run for a state office since the 1990s, when Ben Houser and Dan Stevens made a run for a state office.

Bubp, of Adams County, won the seat to represent Ohio’s 88th District during the 2004 election.

Bubp was in Washington and could not be reached for comment.

Hall plans to kick off his campaign 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at the Lazy H Cattle Company on U.S. 68 south of Georgetown.
